Our story

A mineral bath older than memory

For centuries, people have come to the Dead Sea to float in its famously dense water and to coat themselves in the black mud along its shores. The mud is rich in the minerals the sea's salts carry — magnesium, calcium and potassium among them. Ard gathers that mud, dries and purifies it, and jars it so the oldest spa ritual on Earth can be enjoyed at home. Smooth it on, let it set, and rinse to the feeling of skin deeply cleansed.

How it's made

The black mud is gathered from the Dead Sea's shores, then dried, finely milled and purified until it is smooth and silky. It is packed in sealed jars with nothing added — the mud itself is the product.

How to use it

Smooth a thin layer over clean, damp skin and leave it for a few minutes while it sets. Rinse with warm water and pat dry. Use once or twice a week as a gentle deep-cleanse ritual.

Good to know

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

It is a pure mineral mud with no fragrance or additives. As with any new product, test a small area first and rinse promptly if it feels too dry for your skin.

How should I store it?

Keep the jar sealed and out of direct sunlight. The mud keeps well for a long time as long as the jar is closed.

How often should I use it?

Once or twice a week is plenty for most people. Apply it over clean, damp skin, let it set, and rinse with warm water.

What is in the jar?

Only the mud itself. It is gathered, dried, milled and purified, with nothing added — the mud is the whole product.

Why use a mud mask?

A mud mask is a simple deep-cleanse ritual — you smooth it on, let it set, and rinse it off with warm water. Many people enjoy the clean, refreshed feeling it leaves behind.

What is Dead Sea mud?

It is the dark, mineral-rich mud found along the shores of the Dead Sea, the lowest place on Earth. It carries the minerals of the sea's famously dense water and has been used in spa rituals for centuries.
